Project overview
We worked with Phenotype to come up with this site for the UN backed charity 'Peace One Day' - a charity that seeks to persuade the warring factions of the world to lay down their arms for one symbolic day a year. The site leverages the fantastic MODx CMS and supports a wide variety of languages, including Arabic, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
The brief
The brief was to build a site that would be able to withstand huge loads while allowing people around the world to register their pledges for the day of peace.
